Okay taking the “rhododendron ponticum, it matches” line, along with the infuriating Mark Gatiss quote, I’m going to guess that SOMEHOW Moriarty must have used the flower to stop his pulse, instead of shooting himself.

1. The flower was supposedly a clue as to where Moriarty had taken the kids. 2. I’m pretty damn sure Sherlock used the ball, so somebody had to use the flower. They had to mention it for a reason. The only problem is how on EARTH they’re going to kill off Moriarty, as I can’t imagine they would undermine the canon and have him survive Reichenbach.

I mean maybe Sherlock somehow threw him off the building before John got there? I guess that could make sense if they just cut that part out, and then skipped right to Sherlock hyperventilating to be able to stop his breathing. Or. OR. Maybe Sherlock somehow switched his flower with a poisonous one or something? Sounds sketchy to me, but SOMETHING is going on with the flower and Moriarty’s death and this is the only thing that makes sense. Anybody have any ideas?
